Renew your SunSmart membership

All our members are asked to complete a policy review and membership renewal every five years. This reaffirms your community’s commitment to skin cancer prevention and ensures your policy and practices are up-to-date and evidence-based.

A current SunSmart policy and membership also supports early childhood Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and quality assessments and school reviews.

There is no cost to renew your membership and it can be done online in around 10–15 minutes.

  1. Make sure you have a copy of your current SunSmart policy. If you need to update your policy, take a look at our sample SunSmart policies or use the online policy review checklist to review your policy.
  2. Tick the boxes that apply to your current practices and update your SunSmart policy as required.
  3. Attach a copy of your updated SunSmart policy and submit your renewal.

Once approved, we will email an updated SunSmart member certificate confirming your completed renewal and commitment to saving lives from skin cancer!   

Order a new ‘We are SunSmart’ member sign

Is your SunSmart member sign looking a little faded, worn or damaged?

SunSmart members can order replacement metal member signs (40cm x 60cm) for $60 each (including GST and postage). 

Member signs have a graffiti-resistant plastic film so if someone does spray paint over your sign, it should be easier to clean.

Join the Achievement Program

You can continue your commitment to health and wellbeing by joining the Achievement Program. Your school or service will be recognised for the work you have completed with SunSmart and receive tools, resources and guidance to improve healthy practices in other areas, such as healthy eating and oral health, physical activity and mental health and wellbeing.
