Special education schools

Schools with sun protection practices incorporated into their daily school routine can join the SunSmart Schools membership program. Practices are recorded in a written sun protection policy which is approved by Cancer Council Victoria.

Download the sample sun protection policy for special education schools [pdf 117K] to guide the development of your policy.

Once your policy is finalised, download the SunSmart schools application form [pdf 264K] to apply and join the SunSmart Schools Program.

Complete the SunSmart school online policy review to ensure your policy is up-to-date and working well. The review automatically renews your membership. SunSmart recommends schools evaluate their policy at least every three years.
