Schools with sun protection practices incorporated into their daily school routine can join the SunSmart schools membership program.

Practices are recorded in a written sun protection policy, which is approved by Cancer Council Victoria.

Download the SunSmart schools application form [pdf 264K] to apply and join the SunSmart schools membership program once your policy is finalised.

The booklet Being SunSmart: a guide for primary schools [pdf 2.27M] provides advice about sun protection challenges and suggested solutions.

Complete the SunSmart school online policy review to ensure your policy is up-to-date and working well. The review automatically renews your membership. SunSmart recommends that schools evaluate their policy at least every three years.
